It was an emotion weekend for Browns fans.
On Saturday, Jim Donovan, 25-year voice of the Cleveland Browns, died after a long battle with leukemia. The sports and news anchor was a beloved member of the Northeast Ohio community, having served WKYC for 40 years. On Sunday, his legacy was honored everywhere from the Jumbotron before the Browns-Ravens home game to Sunday Night Football, where announcer Cris Collinsworth tipped a cap to Donovan, his first TV partner on NBC.
But no where was the loss felt more than in the Cleveland radio booth.

Certainly, after such a rocky season, uncertainty around the team's future regarding DeShaun Watson and quarterback Jameis Winston getting his first start, few expected the Browns to beat the red-hot Baltimore Ravens. But thanks to a 38-yard bomb from Winston to wide receiver Cedric Tillman, the Browns somehow pulled out a 29-24 win against their division rivals.
On the final play, Donovan co-host Nathan Zegura's voice cracked as he set up the final play. When the final seconds ticked off, the emotion from Donovan's colleagues poured out of the booth.
"You just knew it," screamed Zegura. "So many things happening in this game that were unexplainable, and it all added up to a Browns win. This one's for you Jim Donovan!"
