We’ve all been there. You settle into your seat at Progressive Field, crack open a cold one, lean back in your chair and ask yourself an important question: Could I hit a golf ball into the outfield from here?
From Sept. 29 to Oct. 3, Topgolf and the Cleveland Indians will give you a chance to answer that question with Topgolf Live at Progressive Field.
“We weren’t able to do any large-scale events last year so this is a way for people to get into the park and experience it in a way they wouldn’t normally do,” says Caitlyn Burkart, the team’s director of events.
The event, which is the tenth stop of Topgolf’s 2021 National Stadium Tour, will allow for participants to get a chance to turn Progressive Field’s outfield into the 18th hole at Augusta National Golf Club.
Golf bays will be set up on top of the club seats down the first base line, with participants shooting at targets on the field set up anywhere from 70 to 140 yards away.
Tickets for a one-hour time slot are $80, with a premium ticket package available for $145 that includes a hat, Topgolf membership, discount card and drink tickets.
Additionally, Progressive Field’s Discount Drug Mart Club — located on the second level on the first base line — will be turned into a clubhouse for golfers to relax and grab a drink.
“I’m excited to be able to put this on and help people have a memory they’ll hold on to for years,” Burkart says.
