"Euclid Beach [Park] was our generation's Disneyland, but we didn't realize it. Over the Falls was my favorite ride. You got in a boat that went through a dark tunnel before going up high enough that all you could see was the sky. The boat would sit there and teeter back and forth for what seemed like forever before it plunged into a pool of water. I stayed away from the rides that had garden hoses in the operator's booth. The only reason the hoses were there was because people were getting sick on those rides."
