Hidden talent: I can dunk a basketball.
Biggest fear: I'm not progressing or learning and my life becomes stagnant.
My bad habit: I hit the snooze button too often.
My guilty pleasure: Ice cream. I love it, and pretty much any flavor. I live across the street from East Coast Custard, so that can be dangerous.
You'd never guess: I hit a hole-in-one when I was 10 years old. I was out golfing with my dad. I had started golfing three weeks earlier, and we were on this small course, a 117-yard hole. Then the next hole I lost the ball in the water. I didn't realize it was anything special at the time.
I can't live without: Getting a good workout in at least a couple times a week. It's a good stress reliever for me. I was a hockey player growing up, so pickup games are one of the more fun workouts I do.
My hero: My dad.
On my bucket list: Travel. I've never done it and would love to with my family, Europe or something. Just take a month off with nothing on the plate. I'd like to go travel, eat whatever, get on the beach.
Biggest accomplishment: I would say launching a business at a young age.
When I'm not working: With a startup, work is 24/7. But it's super important to turn the mind off and to hang out and just do nothing with our buddies.
Find me here on a Saturday night: We like to do West 25th and Ohio City: Market Garden, Bier Markt, Nano Brew. Also, the Map Room on West Ninth Street for football and pizza.
If I had one wish: A little more time in each day so we could turn the mind off and not go on a million miles an hour all the time—spend a little more time with friends.
Once-in-a-lifetime moment: Being able to run a company with my brother, Brandon, was something that growing up we always thought would happen, and having it become a reality is pretty special.
If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: I probably wouldn't go that crazy. I'd fix things up, help out with some of the family bills and I probably wouldn't change a whole lot—maybe get a little bit better of a place.
My No. 1 dating rule: I hate it when I have to carry the conversation. Open up! There's no point to being shy and keeping things wrapped up.
Deal-breakers: Smoking. I hate that. Then I guess talking all about yourself and your accomplishments, being an egocentric.
The perfect date: I like it low-key. I'd like to keep it simple, keep it light, and get to know her.
I'm a sucker for: Athletic girls.
Most romantic thing I've ever done: A full on breakfast in bed, spa-day, cooking all day — a pampered day.
What I look for in a significant other: Self-confidence and a social awareness about herself, and then someone that has something to add to the conversation and who has creative thoughts. I really like someone who can go and meet new people. If and when they meet my friends, they can hold their own, find something in common and bring something to the table.
I always, sometimes or never make the first move: Somewhere in the middle. I'd rather make the first move for the long-term.
Would you want to be famous?: I wouldn't want to be famous for being rich or in that celebrity sense. The other type of fame, almost undercover known for being a great thinker, a great businessman would be an awesome accomplishment.
Do you rehearse what you're going to say before making a phone call?: I kind of have a game plan, but I like to let it go where it may be. I like to rely on the moment. It's more genuine, and that can show my personality better than having any type of script.
Last time I sing to myself: While cooking at home, my brother and I will turn up the music and get singing. I'm not very bashful about that. Last time I sang to someone else: Probably in college. I'll have to pull that one out sometime soon.
If I could gain one quality or ability, it would be: Empathy. Sometimes I can't put myself in someone else's shoes as well as I would like to. That's one thing I know I need to work on.
I wish I had someone with whom I could share ... : my everyday thoughts and fears.
Celebrity dream date: Emma Watson. I went to the same college as her and met her a couple times, so I'd like to loop back in and see what's going on there.
Celebrity look-alike: Dr. [Jackson] Avery on Grey's Anatomy. People say I look like him. I'll take it!
Dogs or cats: Dogs.
Beach or mountains: Beach.
Signature dish: Fish tacos with a lighter fish with some cilantro, lime, pico—all the good stuff.
How I stay healthy: My brother and I eat pretty healthy — probably a little bit neurotic for some people. We don't do much sugar, carbs or dairy, gluten-free. Proteins, veggies — we keep it pretty tight in that sense. I try to workout four to five times a week.
My favorite ... book: The Monk and the Riddle by Randy Komisar. It got me thinking a lot differently about my life trajectory as it pertains to my job and what I want to do with my life. ... TV show: I like How I Met Your Mother and Pardon the Interruption on ESPN. ... movie: I really like quirky movies, so Inglourious Basterds and The Grand Budapest Hotel. And James Bond. ... music: I mix it up. I like doing Indie and then EDM and sometimes a little rap depending on the mood. ... restaurant: I like Paladar a lot. I like funky foods and trying new things. ... app: The Chive app. It has funny pictures and raises money for underfunded causes.
What I'm reading: What To Do When It's Your Turn by Seth Godin.
IPod embarrassment: I like some girly poppy songs once in a while — some Miley Cyrus and Carly Rae Jepsen. I'll crank those up some time to get the party going.
I am so over: Dating superstitions and reading the stars. A little fate can happen, but things like You're a Leo and I'm not? Get that nonsense out of here!
Dream job: My dream job would be growing this company into a national brand and still with my brother, but it's a lot more the challenge and pursuit of overcoming some obstacles in creative ways.
Dream vacation: I love the outdoors. I grew up as a huge animal kid. An African safari would be on the bucket list.
My take on Cleveland's single scene: I wish I could get more involved in it. Unfortunately, I'm a little limited right now. From what I've seen, it's a lot better than what people think.
Are you on Tinder?: I'm not.
Best thing about being single: Freedom. It allows me to focus on other things. I wouldn't be a very good boyfriend right now.
Worst thing about being single: It's just my thoughts and me too many times. I don't get to share things above the surface level with someone all the time — other than my brother and he gets enough of that.
Best date I've been on: It started as a dinner and just kind of went through the night chatting. It was fun because it was a small hole-in-the-wall place. It wasn't like we had any plans.
Worst date I've been on: I was doing all the talking. She didn't want to be there so it just made it kind of awkward.
Do you hope to settle down in the next five years?: I'd like to have a girlfriend in the next five years. I don't know about being married.
