I just love Michael Symon. In all encounters I've had with him, he is always gracious and down-to-earth ("Laugh Track," July 2015). There is nothing pretentious or arrogant about him. I've eaten at many of his restaurants, and the food is excellent. I've also cooked from all of his cookbooks, and the recipes always turn out fantastic. I can't wait to try Mabel's. I'm sure it's going to be as spectacular as everything else Symon creates. I'll always be grateful to chef Symon for everything he has taught me, and my family is too!
Heaven Sent
Forward Church is the most genuine church I've ever been involved with ("The Kingdom of Boz," July 2015). The fact that my friend, "Boz," leads this phenomenon makes it even more special. He's an amazing factor in the community I grew up in. Of all places, he did it here — in the Village. That's special.
Clock Work
I've been a subscriber of Cleveland Magazine for four years. My favorite part is "The Terminal." I love seeing all the vintage pics of Cleveland and the interesting stories behind them.
