Once I knew for sure that LeBron was coming home, there was a sigh of relief and then the excitement. It was crazy. I thought, Wow, it's going to be fun again. The Cavs brought me in for a meeting about lifting my ban. I wanted to express to them that I never meant any disrespect. I just wanted to show LeBron that we might support him if he ever wanted to come back. I was sorry for anything that happened and how they looked as an organization. That one night was a crazy thing I did, and it was really stupid. I didn't find out officially until a week or so before the season started that I was allowed back in. Friends and I were at the home opener and another 10 to 15 games throughout the season. I think we were at every playoff game. Everything fell back into place. — as told to Jason Brill
We Got Next: James Blair
James Blair reflects on how he felt after his love-driven stunt to Lebron James during a finals game, and how he felt about the King's return to Cleveland.
With about eight minutes left in a 2013 Cavaliers game against the Miami Heat, the Ashtabula native ran onto the court at The Q wearing a shirt with a message for LeBron James: "We miss you, 2014 come back." For his trouble, Blair got a high-five and a tap on the head from LeBron before being whisked away for a 23-hour stint in the slammer and lifetime ban from The Q. When rumors started flying that James was coming home, Blair was on the edge of his seat.
