We love that Zoom celebrations can make our friends and family feel near during this time apart. But if you want to do something extra special for that birthday, anniversary, graduation or baby shower, don’t fret. There are plenty of local designers, party planners and decorative artists hard at work to make your at-home celebrations vibrant and unforgettable. Think outside the box with these three innovative milestone makers.
Blossom Cleveland
Before COVID-19, visitors to Blossom Cleveland’s Lakewood shop were greeted with a diverse flower bar to build their own bouquets with an assortment of exotic and tropical flowers. Now, you can custom build bouquets from home by ordering online or on the phone or catch their custom flower cart on select days around Cleveland. “I love bringing happiness to other people, and so does my flower girl team,” says owner Megan Robinson. “We use bright colors and unique flowers, creating bouquets that stand out.” 17006 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-512-0700, blossomcleveland.com

This balloon delivery service rises far above any traditional balloon decorations you have in mind. Co-owners Kelly Simpson and Jeffrey Buzelli cater to every celebration with enormous, inventive kaleidoscopic displays of helium-filled balloons of all sizes, making doorways, front yards and windows come to life with a rock-candy aesthetic. “We’re able to go and do the installation and be gone before anyone sees it,” says Simpson. 440-334-6196, facebook.com/poppincleveland
