Entrepreneur Peter Debelak's Soulcraft began as a workshop offering furniture-making classes. This summer, he began showcasing his works and those by other artists at Soulcraft Gallery inside the 5th Street Arcades. Consider his Walkaway Cabinet (pictured), made with walnut and ambrosia maple. "I was experimenting with turning the legs for the dresser, and it created these weird shapes that looked a lot like bird legs," says Debelak. "This piece is one sliver of the whole of the gallery, which has homegrown talents and furniture with national influences."
