The Beyhive is ready to swarm on Xhibition’s Van Aken District location this Saturday at 11 a.m., as Beyoncé’s first Ivy Park x adidas collaboration drops at the sneaker and fashion shop.
The Spring/Summer 2020 capsule collection splashes down with gender-neutral footwear, hoodies, joggers and body suits in shades such as maroon, cream and orange.
“The line is fun and lends itself to creativity,” Beyoncé told Elle in 2019, “the ultimate power. I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear & apparel because I saw so many men in Ivy Park. The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift. I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules. I took a chance on myself when I bought my company back. We all have the confidence in us to take chances and bet on ourselves.”
With prices ranging from $25-$250, the mostly athleisure pieces include a pair of must-have adidas Ultra Boosts in maroon with hits of orange that look too perfect as part of your next Cavs gameday fit.
One of only 15 stores in the nation to be part of the launch, Xhibition’s festivities includes entertainment by DJ E-V, an appearance by local stylist Todd White and snacks from Restore Cold Pressed. Jan. 18, 3407 Tuttle Road, Shaker Heights, 216-282-3200, xhibition.co
