Kali's Creations' Tea Tree & Rosemary soap bar ($6)
After listening to Khalilah Williams describe her scrumptious, swirly soap, I knew I wanted to try one of her creations. I decided on the Tea & Rosemary bar, since Northeast Ohio’s winter weather annually makes a mockery of my skin. What I was unprepared to fall in love with was the clean, citric scent of the heart-shaped sample of Turmeric & Lemongrass —which will probably be my next purchase from Kali’s. kaliscreations.com

I’m working on strengthening my layer game, and this jacket is the first step of what will hopefully be a fire fit. Based in Youngstown, Atomic Tangerine is the one-stop-shop for your all your crochet needs. Artist Alison Green is an advocate for slow fashion, and along with sharing her art, uses her platforms to promote sustainable fashion. I am personally obsessed with the pink crochet crop top I purchased from her. (I know, I know…we live in Cleveland, so I have a small window to wear it– but I look amazing when I do!) Along with her own crochet tops, sweaters, scarves, hats and bags, she also makes adorable candles perfect for an added funky flair to your bookshelf, dresser, etc. Trust me when I say, I have one of her candles in every room of my apartment.
