Sunflower Wine Festival
Prayers From Maria hosts its annual Sunflower Wine Festival with floral-themed drinks, live music and more. With the benefit now located on Depot Street in downtown Rocky River, Ed Purcell, Mary's Lane and Sunset Strip will provide the soundtrack to a relaxing evening as you stroll through the beer gardens. You'll also get to enjoy bites from Dewey’s Pizza, Salmon Dave’s and the Smokin’ Rock 'n' Roll Food truck. Si Jolie! Opening Party
It’s time to live it up French style. Take a voyage back in time and celebrate the Western Reserve Historical Society's newest exhibit Si Jolie! Attend a flamboyant Bastille Day party on the exhibit's opening night at the Bingham-Hanna Mansion and take a trip to Europe on an ocean liner, learn about dress fittings with the biggest names in fashion, explore how Clevelanders flaunted their fashion at cultural venues such as the Euclid Avenue Opera House and discover how Parisian fashion played a critical role at stores such as Higbee’s and Halle Brothers. $40-$50. Tall Ships Festival
It’s time to set sail, Cleveland. To celebrate Cleveland’s maritime history, tall ships are sailing our way. Presented in conjunction with Tall Ships America, the four-day series of waterfront events returns to Cleveland for the first time since 2013. Check out the grand fleet, 11 replica and restored ships that will be docked near the north side of FirstEnergy Stadium at Festival Village and by Voinovich Park for sail aways. There will also be six visiting vessels from the United States, five from Canada and one from New Zealand. $15. Colin Jost
Best known as a writer, actor and comedian, Staten Island native Colin Jost is a co-anchor on the Weekend Update for Saturday Night Live where he often does skits posed as former Ohio Governor John Kasich and has been a writer since 2005 including co-head writer from 2012-2014 and head writer 2017.
