Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival
Celebrating 37 years of Irish pride and culture, learn a traditional step dance and see how the hearts of Irish migrants live on today. Spend a weekend out and listen to the music from the Irish band Gaelic Storm, partake in a cornhole tournament or checkout the festival’s new Temple Bar and Museum, where you can relax with a beer and explore over 200 exhibits. $12. GroundWorks DanceTheater
Celebrating its 17th year, GroundWorks DanceTheatre brings us an intimate summer series and a few collaborations. It brings back the 2009 hit "Valence," which is choreographed by Amy Miller and intersects two art forms of music and dance. "Sud Buster’s Dream," will have its world premiere. Psychedelic Furs
Led by singer-songwriter Richard Butler and his bass-playing brother, Tim, the band started out premiering on radio shows. It quickly rose to fame with the arrival of MTV in the early 80’s after being approached by the notable filmmaker John Hughes for being the inspiration to his movie Pretty in Pink.
