Almost Famous and Pee-wee’s Big Adventure Screening at Masonic Cleveland

Beck Center for the Arts’ Zopp
The Beck Center in Lakewood is putting on its first-ever virtual show, a modern comedy performed by its youth theater, which has been performing for more than 70 years. Zopp takes the trials and tribulations of virtual conference calls and turns it into a hilarious parody for audiences to enjoy. Written and directed by Russel Stich, this Zoom performance was crafted specially for the youth theater to stay alive during the pandemic through a safe and virtual show. Bessie’s Angels Benefit Concert
Hosted by Music for our Children, this outdoor concert will showcase Cleveland Orchestra members Max Dimoff and Carolyn Warner, along with Cleveland Institute of Music alumni and current students, Cleveland Ballet pianist Ralitsa Georgieva-Smith and others. Enjoy a relaxing outdoor concert that benefits Bessie’s Angels, a local organization that provides financial and educational assistance to young women who age out of foster care. Patti Lupone: Playhouse Square Live Virtual Series
As part of its Women on Broadway livestream series, Playhouse Square will be giving the virtual stage to Broadway star, Patti Lupone, who’s famously known for her roles as Eva Peron in Evita, Fantine in the original Les Miserables and many others. This special live performance will feature Lupone performing a mix of show tunes and pop songs, as well as sharing personal stories from her life and career. Audiences will also be able to send in Q&A questions, which will be answered during the livestream. Virtual Murder in the Mansion: Murder on the Ballot
Travel back to the Prohibition era where you will be tasked to help investigate a whodunnit murder mystery set in the historic 65-room Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron. The expansive mansion has been turned into an interactive virtual production featuring pre-recorded scenes and live interrogations that will be acted out by the Stan Hywet Historic Players.
