Belovedly known as the “Roller Coaster Capital of the World”, Cedar Point has unveiled its new ride of the season: Siren’s Curse.
Featuring 13 weightless airtime moments, two 360-degree, zero-gravity barrel rolls and a high-speed “triple-down” element with twisted and overbanked track, two 24-passenger trains soar through the air at top speeds of 58 mph. Siren’s Curse is set to open early summer of 2025.
As thrill-seekers ascend the towering 160-foot-tall structure, what awaits them at the top isn’t a traditional first drop — it’s nothing at all. Unlike any other coaster in the park, Siren’s Curse creates an extra moment of anticipation by stopping at the top of a seemingly broken track.
Riders will need to brace themselves for a 90-degree tilt forward to align with the rest of the course before launching riders into the drop facing straight towards the ground.
After the ride locks into place, the car will speed through 2,966 feet of track for two minutes of non-stop twists and turns. The coaster’s integration of immersive audio, LED lighting and chilling backstory adds an extra layer of thrill, making each ride feel like a descent into the unknown.
As Cedar Point gears up for the 2025 season, Siren’s Curse will join the growing lineup of coasters, with the highly anticipated return of Top Thrill 2 coming out this season as well.
