Enter Northeast Ohio’s oceanic utopia with the kids and do your best impression of a sea diver as you travel through exhibits dedicated to the water’s greatest wonders. Kids are encouraged to craft a personalized Father’s Day card and complete a fatherhood word puzzle that gets them a chance to win an annual aquarium pass. Scavenger Hunt at Summit Metro Parks
Wander over to Summit Metro Parks for a scavenger hunt with dad and to get in-touch with nature. While observing the picturesque Twinsburg Ledges Nature Center, enjoy the scenic Coyote Run Trail, where you can often see red-tailed hawk soaring overhead. The accessibility-friendly Maple Loop Trail, a paved asphalt and crushed limestone path enclosed by a beech-maple forest, is also a must-see. Classic, Antique & Collector Car Show
It’s hard to get dad out of the garage. But when he sees the over 400-car display at the Father’s Day Car Show at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron – it will be worth it. The 61st installment of this roaring event will lure in admirers, collectors and enthusiasts from all over the state and beyond. Play Catch With Dad at League Park
Bust out your mitts and relive the glory days of Bob Feller and Lou Boudreau with dad in a game of catch at historic League Park. At the event, the Baseball Heritage Museum will be warming up for their attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest Game of Catch in 2019. Visitors on Father’s Day get the first chance to sign up for the record-breaking event that’s on the schedule for 2019. If that feat isn’t enough, there will be a baseball book giveaway for the kids.
