If you end up going to see Ian Bagg Thursday night at Hilarities, you might want to think twice about sitting in the front row. Founded in 2005 in a dive bar in Brooklyn, Dr. Sketchy’s has now spread to more than 100 cities around the world. Feast of the Assumption at Little Italy
The annual Feast of the Assumption takes place Thursday through Sunday in Little Italy. Once again, Holy Rosary Church's parish hosts this free, family-friendly festival. Jonah Koslen at Music Box Supper Club
The local singer-songwriter celebrates the release of his new limited-edition vinyl-only album, Unreleased Tracks from the Stage Pass Era. Whitney at Beachland Ballroom
Formed in Chicago in 2015 by former Smith Westerns guitarist Max Kakacek and Unknown Mortal Orchestra drummer Julien Ehrlich, Whitney quickly gained acclaim with its debut album, 2016's Light Upon the Lake. The rapper straight out of Ypsilanti, Michigan, comes to the Agora Theatre. ShittyBoyz, a hip-hop group of which BabyTron is a member, opens the show. BabyTron has personality to spare and makes funny videos with a Beastie Boys-like vibe. His rapid-fire raps and spastic beats will undoubtedly energize the crowd. Brit Floyd at Jacobs Pavilion
Singer-guitarist Damian Darlington reportedly formed this Pink Floyd tribute act because he wanted it to improve upon the work he did with his previous band, the Australian Pink Floyd Show. Screeching Weasel at House of Blues

Third Friday at 78th Street Studios

The controversial country singer brings his I'm the Problem Tour to Huntington Bank Field for a two-day stand. Clipse at the Agora
For the new album, Let God Sort Em Out, the Clipse — brothers Pusha T and Malice — enlisted an all-star team comprised of longtime collaborators, including hip-hop and pop superstar Pharrell Williams. Kansas at Akron Civic Theatre
