Ice Nine Kills at the Covelli Centre
The metalcore group that reportedly took its band name from the 1963 Kurt Vonnegut novel Cat's Cradle brings its summer tour to the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. The group's latest album, Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2, offers the usual quotient of blistering guitar solos and parched vocals. Cleveland Oktoberfest at Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds
The annual Cleveland Oktoberfest returns Friday to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. The fest features more than 15 different types of Oktoberfest-style beers, German and European restaurants, tribute bands, vendors and local artisans, wiener dog races, fireworks, a Miss Oktoberfest contest, a Bavarian Shopping Village, the Great Lakes 5K Bier Run, the Best Oktoberfest Microbrew Competition and a classic car show. Cleveland Taco Fest at Jacobs Pavilion
More than 30 taquerias and eateries will be on hand for this annual event that starts Friday and continues through Monday at Jacobs Pavilion. There will also be two stages featuring some of Cleveland's best DJs and top cover bands. A Kids Zone will feature interactive games and engaging activities. Daily events include Lucha Libre wrestling, daily contests like timed taco-eating competitions, hot sauce taste challenges and tequila sampling. Guardians vs. Seattle Mariners at Progressive Field
The Mariners swept the series when the Guardians played them in Seattle earlier in the season. Kamm's Corners Greek Festival
For the past 15 years, the George Varouh Cretan Club of Cleveland has played host to the Kamm’s Corners Greek Festival. This year’s installment kicks off Friday at 3 p.m. It features Greek food and pastries as well as a full dinner menu that includes lamb shank, lamb roasted on the spit, Greek roasted chicken dinners and more. There will be dance performances and live music as well. You’ll be able to sit both inside and outside. Greek beer and wine will be served. Admission is free. Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival at Hale Farm & Village
The Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival returns to Hale Farm & Village Friday through Sunday when the event returns to the venue. Streetlight Manifesto at the Agora
This ska-punk band has been a staple on the scene for more than 20 years. They released their debut album, Everything Goes Numb, way back in 2003 and have toured and recorded steadily since then. Tate McRae: Miss Possessive Tour at Rocket Arena
This singer-songwriter and dancer became an overnight sensation back in 2020 when her confessional, Billie Eilish-like "you broke me first” became a massive hit. Cleveland National Air Show at Burke Lakefront Airport
This annual event returns to Burke Lakefront Airport this weekend. Nine Inch Nails: Peel It Back Tour at Rocket Arena
The industrial rock group with ties to Northeast Ohio returns to Rocket Arena. The group just released "As Alive as You Need Me To Be," the first official music from the band in five years. The tune comes from the soundtrack for the forthcoming TRON: Ares film and features noisy guitars mixed with pulsating synths and Trent Reznor's typically intense vocals (he always sounds like he's on the verge of a breakdown).
