If you ever wanted to live out the dream of being a character in a Hallmark Christmas movie, this year might be your chance.
No, we can’t guarantee that you’re going to meet a handsome lumberjack or save a family farm, but you can take a drive out to Sugar Pines Farm in Chesterland and peruse a lineup of Christmas trees, sip some cocoa and feel like you’re in one of those small towns that are always filled with falling snow and twinkling lights.
“Hallmark Channel is kind of synonymous with Christmas, it’s what people do with their families during the holiday season,” says Seth Bardacke, president of GDX studios, who is a Hallmark Marketing partner.
The Hallmark Countdown to Christmas event chooses eight farms across the country to ring in holiday cheer, and Sugar Pines Farm is one of them. Located just 40 minutes from Cleveland, this farm will be buzzing with Christmas activity both this weekend and Dec. 3-4
This is the second year in a row that Sugar Pines Farm has been chosen and the event will include photo-ops, giveaways, kids activities, hot cocoa and a hayride. A couple of lucky families might even get their trees paid for courtesy of the Hallmark Channel.
With the Countdown to Christmas movies starting on Hallmark Channel around the same time as the event kickoff, families can go experience the magic before coming home to watch the movies that have become a staple of the holiday season.
“This is our second year partnering with family-owned Sugar Pines Farm in Chesterland,” says Hallmark Media’s Chief Marketing Officer Lara Richardson. “We are excited to help everyone create special holiday memories as they select, bring home, decorate and gather around their 2022 Christmas tree.”
