Getting there: The fastest, easiest way to visit both islands is to fly. Griffing Flying Service (419-626-5161) at Griffing Sandusky Airport offers a varying number of 7-minute daily flights to and from Kelleys Island and at least three 15-minute flights a day to and from Pelee Island. Fare for each round trip is $66.
At press time, only the Pelee Island Transportation Co. (800-661-2220 or www.bmts.com/~northland) provides ferry service to Pelee Island. Passengers board and disembark in downtown Sandusky. The Island Rocket (800-854-8121 or www.islandrocket.com) offers passenger service to Kelleys Island from a nearby dock.
