Statement Bowl
Reel in oceanic vibes with this plaster bowl ($325) from Rocky River’s Maison by Paysage. With a coral-like texture and wavy flow, the 24-inch-diameter bowl makes a great centerpiece on a coffee or dining room table, says Maison by Paysage manager Jesse Marquard. “It looks good when it’s full of things,” he says, suggesting ornamental beads. Sculpture
We’re wild about this cast-iron antelope Gareth Sculpture ($459) from Pavilion Home and Floral in Cleveland Heights. The 23-inch-tall figure’s sharp edges and gold leaf-painted horns draw inspiration from French art deco pieces of the 1930s, says Pavilion co-owner Leslie Marceau. “It’s very typical of the type of accents that [Coco] Chanel had in her Ritz Paris apartment,” says Marceau. Vases
Use either of these black-and-white-striped Jailbreak Vases ($59 for short, $65 for tall) from Chez-Del on a living room cocktail table as a way to break up some of the green or deep blue paint becoming trendier on walls.
