Joy comes in some of the simplest packages. Erin Guido’s Everyday Cards ($22 for a five-card variety pack) are our favorite physical manifestation of that principle. Whether you’re sending the cards to a friend, loved one or pen pal, the messages — spelled out with colorful patchwork-esque letters and so many exclamation points — happily get the point across. “A lot of the cards you can probably use for maybe a birthday, but I like the idea of just sending a card just to say ‘hi’ to someone,” Guido says. While the cards are blank inside, leaving us with the challenge of being as creative as Guido, the messages outside — “Come Over All The Time,” “Make Nice Things + Think Nice Thoughts” or eight more options — are sure to make anyone who receives them smile or giggle. “It’s almost like a handwritten message from the start,” she says, “but then allowing people to kind of make their own message inside to someone that they care about.” eringuido.com
