Annie Nickoloff, senior editor of Cleveland Magazine, has been named a finalist for writer of the year by the City and Regional Magazine Association.
Nickoloff, who brings great curiosity and heartfelt diligence to her work, will find out the winner on June 6 at the annual CRMA conference in Denver. Her work is being recognized along with the work of four other magazine writers from around the country.
Nickoloff was chosen for her work on these five stories:
Once-In-a-Lifetime: Total Solar Eclipse Puts a Spotlight on Cleveland
The New Melt Bar and Grilled: Matt Fish’s Journey Brings Him Back to Where He Started
Unsound: Local Artists Grapple with Music Streaming Landscape
Last year, Nickoloff was recognized by CRMA for her writing and reporting after the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio: The Nightmare in East Palestine.
CRMA is an association of city and regional magazines from around the country, from large to small circulations.
We send best wishes to Annie.
