New Year’s Eve Popcorn Ball Drop at Chagrin Falls
Jupiter will plunge in Chagrin Falls at the stroke of midnight this New Year’s Eve — that’s the name of a 250-pound popcorn ball with a diameter of six feet, displayed outside the Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop through Dec. 30. On New Year’s Eve, it ascends the village flagpole. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served from 10:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. in anticipation of the drop, which will signal 200 bazooka popcorn ball guns and confetti canons afterward.
