Caamp at Jacobs Pavilion
The jam/folk band has come a long way since it started playing coffeeshops in Athens, Ohio, when band members were students at Ohio University. Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School at Jilly’s Music Room
Founded in 2005 in a dive bar in Brooklyn, Dr. Sketchy’s has now spread to more than 100 cities around the world. Dr. Sketchy Akron, a monthly drink and draw event that takes place on the second Thursday of each month at Jilly's Music Room in Akron, gives patrons the opportunity to "draw glamorous underground performers in an atmosphere of boozy conviviality." Hot Mulligan at the Rock Hall

Pete Francis of Dispatch & C-Level Single Release Party at the Winchester
The local jam band C-Level teamed up with Pete Francis, the former singer of the national act Dispatch, for a song on C-Level's forthcoming studio effort. They'll celebrate the single's release with Friday's show by playing the tune with Francis. They'll also back Francis as he plays a special set of Dispatch tunes. Halsey: For My Last Trick at Blossom

REUNION, A CIA Alumni Exhibition Opening Reception at Bostwick Design Partnership Gallery
Local artist Mary Urbas curated this exhibit as a way to honor her time as an artist at CIA and reconnect with the artists that have graduated from the school. This year marks 45 years since her graduation in 1980, with a BFA and a double major in Textile Design and Weaving, and a minor in printmaking. This exhibition features works by her classmates, mentors, and invited alumni, including some artists who were in her “rearview mirror” (up and coming) while she was a student. From countless film and television appearances to a successful national standup career that spans the course of 20 years, comedian Sommore has surely earned her title as one of the "Queens of Comedy." In her standup act, Sommore regularly speaks to the masses by criticizing what it means to be a man and woman in a modern relationship (something I'm sure many can relate to). The Hooley at Kamm’s Corners
