Virtual Climb Challenge
Lakewood-based running club Runiversity is challenging you to get moving through a self-timed running and climbing challenge. The end-goal is to push yourself to log 10,000 "feet of gain" within a four-week time frame, but even if you end up miles away, the group's main goal is to help people get active at their own pace. Download the Strava app and join the "Heart Beat Running Club" to input your stats and see where others are compared to you. Week one of the challenge has already happened as of last week, so grab those running shoes and catch up. $10 minimum donation, May 18 - June 15, facebook.com/events
