Flannery’s Pub
With offerings such as Irish stew ($6 cup or $9 bowl) or corned beef and cabbage ($14), Flannery’s is as Irish as its name suggests. Reopening March 11, this East Fourth Street pub will have plexiglass barricades at the booths and bars and spaced out tables. They will open at 11am with a limited menu this year, but are also offering curbside takeout. Flannery's is roomy enough that with a one-third of its normal capacity limit, they can still accommodate 120 customers. Flat Iron Cafe
This homey pub in the Flats has hosted more than 100 St. Patrick’s Day celebrations since it opened in 1910 — often joined by the Cleveland Firefighters Memorial Pipes and Drums. This year, Donal O’Shaughnessy will be playing live Irish music starting at 11am, but if you can't make it, the restaurant is also offering corned beef by the pound for carryout. The Harp
For 21 years, this Detroit Avenue Pub with a gorgeous view of the lake has been a go-to for families on St. Patrick’s Day. While the annual Boys From County Hell show won't be taking place, the bar is offering plenty of Irish favorites like Shepard's pie ($17), corned beef sandwich ($12), and fish & chips ($17). Mullarkey's Irish Pub
The only bar in Cleveland with a “Guinness Gold” certification, this East Side pub provides an authentically Irish experience. The Old Angle Tavern
A staple for local soccer and rugby fans, this Ohio City tavern opened on St. Patrick’s Day in 18 years ago in the place of a burned-down former hardware store. You can help celebrate its birthday by dining-in or getting carryout from its Irish menu. Established in 1997, these pubs are committed to being part of the COVID-19 solution and are not open this year. However, you can call and pre-order "St. Patrick's Day in a Box" with the Classics ($40), Newbies ($35), or Parnell's Winter Hat ($25). You can also order any of their other craft and draft beers, whiskey, bourbon, scotch and cocktails. This West Park bar is committed to offering a lively but safe St. Patrick's Day celebration this year with bagpipers, Irish dancers and the Celtic rock band Marys Lane set to perform. The band starts at 3 p.m., and you can livestream through the pub's Facebook page and YouTube channel. PJ's is also be livestreaming St. Colman's Mass starting at noon. Opening at 7 a.m., the pub is offering an Irish breakfast ($12) with no carryout. Fit for an Irish castle, features such as the hand-blown glass chandeliers, intricate woodwork and a stone patio make this Gordon Square Pub a scenic place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Opening at noon this year, the restaurant is offering its usual Irish menu with takeout.
