Reservoir Fiction
The satirical subject matter of Quentin Tarantino films has inspired Cleveland contemporary artist Billy Nainiger as he summarizes the mixture of art and pop culture at E11even 2 gallery. Tarantino films, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are featured in Reservoir Fiction with Nainiger’s heist style of artwork capturing footage from film and transforming it into portraits using paints and pastels. Avon Lake Bicentennial Beer Festival

The Woman in Black
This spine-tingling production is one that will surely have you on the edge of your seat as you come face to face with supernatural activity. Susan Hill’s novel, The Woman in Black, is brought to life at the Cleveland Play House as Arthur Hipps, a recently widowed solicitor travels to Eel Marsh House in central England and discovers the spiteful ghost of a scorned woman terrorizing the locals. The ghost of Alice Drablow has a bone-chilling wrath with suspense throughout the show. $25-$95. Transcendence
In its last weekend at the Cleveland Gallery, Transcendence displays silkscreens by Julian Stanczak and stone carvings by Barbara Stanczak. The exhibition also celebrates the 90th birthday of Poland-born artist Julian and the legacy of his contributions to art stemming from the 1950s. Recognizing Front International's repainting of Julian Stanczak’s mural downtown, this event pays tribute to a legendary artist whose work inspired the city. Light House Readings
