The Grog Shop let the world in on a pretty big secret Monday morning by announcing that Machine Gun Kelly is performing a pair of shows on Monday night.
The small, independent venue in Cleveland Heights has long been home to musical acts, but pulling off a pair of surprise MGK shows is rather impressive. Over the Grog Shop's 25-plus years, the venue has hosted everyone from Kid Cudi to Oasis to Bruno Mars. MGK, who calls Cleveland home, has played there before, back in 2010.
After selling out the 67,000-seat Cleveland Browns Stadium, this is likely the most intimate venue you’ll get to see the crossover rap, rock and pop star for quite a while. MGK's last appearance in Cleveland was the Forbes Under 30 event but he performed most recently at MGK Day. He was one of our Most Interesting People in 2021.
According to posts on The Grog Shop’s website, the shows will begin at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., respectively, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively.
Tickets are $27 each and can be found at either The Grog Shop or at 27 Club Coffee, located in the East Bank of The Flats.
